The life of the party, Elizabeth was truly one of a kind. She had a passion for her family and always dreamed of opening her own bridal store. In 2016 Elizabeth was diagnosed with breast cancer. She was a fighter, and never gave up. The treatments were incredibly tough, but we truly thought she had beaten it. Plans for Magnolia Laine Detroit were underway, but in April 2023 Elizabeth lost her battle with breast cancer. Today, our Detroit store is dedicated to Elizabeth and her inspirational spirit. As a women-led organization that empowers one another, each October we invite you to join us as we raise awareness and take action to help those affected by breast cancer.

Every day, over 700 women in the U.S. are diagnosed with breast cancer, some of whom are personally connected to our team members. To show our love and support this October, a portion of all gowns purchased at The White Magnolia will go towards The Sugar Foundation, a charitable organization created Iin Elizabeth's honor dedicated to help fund and advance research for women battling metastatic breast cancer.
